• gilt full plate verge movement, pierced and engraved balance cock, plain three arm balance, silver regulation dial, barrel for the quarters and hours repeating clock mechanism with two hammers on a bell, signed both on movement back plate and dust cap cover Dan De Saint Leu, London • white enamel dial, Turkish numerals, outer track for the minute graduation • the outer case finely decorated with floral motifs, pierced and engraved to the band, the back showing military trophies within a garland  of leaves, inner case pierced and engraved with foliage scrolling pattern, strike/silent device to the band for the clock striking mechanism • case stamped IP

Condition

Movement running while cataloguing, the clock watch mechanism needs to be fixed, a service is recommended in the future in order for the watch to be well preserved. Dial with few minimal signs of wear, in a very well preserved condition. The case is in a very good condition, slightly scuffed to the surface. Overall this is a rare example from the period in a well preserved condition.
