Condition
The movement is running at the time of cataloguing, however it may benefit from a service soon. Dial with a very hairline crack at 6 o'clock . Case with light scuffs throughout.

Constant Girard (1825-1903) founder of Girard Perregaux was the technician behind the legendary gold triple bridge plate construction, which was made with tourbillon and/or precision lever escapements. He produced a handful of such pieces between 1865 and 1890.
