Catalogue Note

In 1791, Jean Francois Bautte established an atelier in Geneva, which in 1854 became established as Girard-Perregaux. The brilliant yellow face of this watch is indicative of Girard-Perregaux’s co-branding partnership agreement with Ferrari, the Italian motor car company, between 1994 and 2004. This has since been replaced by the yachting sector with the BMW-Oracle Racing collection. Girard-Perregaux Tourbillons are well-known for their three gold bridges which the company first introduced in 1889, the first watchmakers to do so.
