Catalogue Note

Reference 5131 was launched in white gold in 2009. The cloisonné enamel centre to the dial represents Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania region. The creation of an enamel dial is a very complex technical art and only two or three in-house enamel artists are able to produce these dials. Therefore, as a consequence, only a very few pieces can be delivered each year and out of which so far only 6 pieces in white gold have come back into the auction market.
Considered by many watch collectors and enthusiasts to be an outstanding example of high-art enamel work, this timepiece also represents the perfect symbiosis between aesthetic design and horological ingenuity. Furthermore, this rare watch is presented in its original factory-sealed plastic protective sleeve which guarantees its immaculate condition.
