Catalogue Note

One of the most iconic of all models made by Vacheron Constantin, reference 4737 is often referred to by its nickname of ‘cioccolatone’ due to its design which collectors say is similar to a piece of chocolate. Several variations of the model exist and include complication pieces with calendar and moon-phases. The present example is equipped with an automatic movement and centre seconds. The innovative design of the model led to its reintroduction by Vacheron Constantin in 2003 under the model name ‘Toledo’.
