Condition

The movement is running at the time of cataloguing and the calendar is advancing, however it may benefit from a service soon. Dial in good condition. The case with light surface scuffs throughout from wear. The strap of this watch is made of endangered species. For more information please consult important notices.

Catalogue Note

Patek Philippe has created only a few models with perpetual calendar, retrograde date and sweep seconds: Refs. 5050, 5059, 5159 and 5160. 
Ref. 5059 was produced from 1998 until approximately 2007 when the firm released ref 5159 as the replacement model. According to our research, approximately 200 examples were produced in platinum.
