Catalogue Note
The Polaris Tribute, launched in 2008, pays homage to Jaeger LeCoultre’s original version of the model that was itself introduced in 1965. The first Polaris was equipped with the LeCoultre calibre K825 that had, a few years prior, caused a sensation as the world’s first automatic alarm wristwatch. As a diver’s wristwatch, the Polaris was designed to offer reliability and endurance. The original Polaris was made in two versions, each with a different dial display, the Polaris Tribute was made in a limited edition, following the original designs.
