Théobald-Joseph-Gaspard, comte d'Hoffelize (1765-1849) était un officier de cavalerie qui rejoignit l'armée des émigrés de Condé pendant la Révolution. Après la Restauration, il fut nommé maréchal de camp et conseiller-général de Moselle mais sa carrière politique tourna court en 1830 lorsqu'il refusa de soutenir Louis-Philippe. Il mourut à Nancy en 1849.

Théobald-Joseph-Gaspard, comte d'Hoffelize (1765-1849) was a cavalry officer in France before the Revolution, emigrating to join Condé's army abroad. Following the Restoration, he was appointed maréchal de camp and conseiller-général of Moselle. His political career was halted in 1830 when he refused to support Louis-Philippe and he died in Nancy in 1849.
