à décor d'oiseaux et fleurs dans le goût japonais, ornée de deux sortes d'oiseaux sur les spatules, un pour les fourchettes et un pour les cuillères, les cuillerons et les dos des fourchettes tous différents, chaque pièce gravée au dos d'un cimier, estampée sur chaque manche m Tiffany & Co - Sterling 1871, comprenant 12 cuillères (dessert spoons), 12 fourchettes (dessert forks), 12 couteaux (dessert knives), 12 cuillères à café (coffee spoons) et 2 pièces à servir (sugar sifter and fish slice)

Catalogue Note
Le cimier est celui des familles Stanley et Errington, apparentées à celle de l'actuel propriétaire.
Ce modèle, créé sous la direction d'Edward Moore (entre 1875 et 1891), fut également utilisé pour le modèle Audubon (pattern 1947).
Le modèle Japanese (pattern 1871) ici présenté est illustré dans Warman's, Sterling Silver Flatware, p. 308. Il était à l'époque le modèle de couverts le plus cher de Tiffany.
