Condition

The picture is slightly too light compared with reality. Good overall condition. As said in the catalogue, it has been stripped out and fixed on a modern support, and probably also reduced in height. As visible on the image, one major vertical crack in the middle of the panel. Traces of woodworm damages (not active any more), especially alongside the vertical crack and on the right border (halfway and low angle). Lavish and deep carving, combining an important music trophy with palms and flowers decoration, beautiful and rare panel.
