In overall good condition. The fitted case originally included also a pair of mustard-pots now missing.

Catalogue Note
Les armes sont celles de la famille Barthélémy de Saizieu (Provence) pour Léon-Antoine-Lazare Barthélémy de Saizieu (1736-1819). Chargé d'affaire du Roi de France, puis consul auprès du Bey de Tunis, il est annobli en 1771 par l'obtention de l'ordre de Saint-Michel. Sous l'Empire, il est créé baron en 1811, titre qui lui est confirmé en 1816.
