de forme rectangulaire, à fond blanc et décor en relief de fleurs et feuillages polychromes ; la cuvette ceinte d'une bordure en bronze doré à motif de feuilles d'acanthe avec deux anses chantournées

Condition

Illustration is a little too clear: green leaves and orange flowers are slightly more vivid in reality. Porcelain in good condition, with a nice relief: just one flower with two tiny chips. Mounts with a little wear and dust (possibly originally with a lid). Precious and charming object.

Catalogue Note

Le poinçon au C couronné fut utilisé sur tout article en bronze doré créé ou vendu entre mars 1745 et février 1749.
La porcelaine est contemporaine de la monture. La présence d'un émail stannifère ainsi que les branches fleuries en relief, qui ont pour source l'exotisme japonais et les décors en relief exécutés à Meissen dans les années 1720, permettent de situer cette caisse autour de 1745.
