Provenance
Paris, hôtel particulier rue de la Faisanderie, détruit dans les années 1960 (les oeuvres avaient été insérées postérieurement dans le mur de la cour intérieure).
Condition
Fantastic lead cast in very good condition overall. Surface dirt in the crevisses at several places consistent with age and handling. Some erosion to the surface and to the edges of the mask. There appears a fine repaired fissure to his proper upper right edge. Very decorative and rare piece
