The paisley-shaped brooch and earclips set with pear-shaped rubies weighing a total of approximately 34.50 carats, accented by numerous round diamonds weighing approximately 9.00 carats, the brooch and one earclip signed Chantecler Capri on applied plaques.
Condition
In good condition with some scratching to the gold. BROOCH: The rubies are a richly saturated medium-deep pinkish red and well-matched for color, moderately to heavily included with some evidence of surface-reaching inclusions, abrading, and cavities visible only under magnification. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, predominantly VS clarity with a few SI clarity examples. Signed on an applied plaque on the reverse. Length approximately 2 1/4 inches. EARCLIPS: The rubies are a lively medium-deep pinkish red and even in color, moderately to heavily included with surface-reaching fractures and abrasions at the facet junctions only evident under magnification. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. Signed on an applied plaque on the reverse of one earclip. Length approximately 1 1/2 inches.
