Centered by an oval-shaped sapphire weighing approximately 7.95 carats, framed by ten round diamonds weighing approximately 2.50 carats, size 5¾, numbered 135071.
Condition
In good condition, with minor signs of wear. The sapphire ranges from a light blue-violet to a lively slightly violetish-blue depending on the light source, slightly less deep than appears in the printed catalogue, very lightly included with some minor chipping around the girdle and light abrading to the facet junctions, only visible under magnification. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS-SI clarity. Accompanied by GIA report no. 2125798302 stating that the sapphire is natural, with no indications of heating.
