The two entwined Phoenixes set with numerous rose-cut diamonds and cabochon turquoises, the eyes set with two cabochon rubies, length 14¾ inches, with French export marks, late 19th century.

Condition

In good condition, with wear to the necklace commensurate with age. The turquoises range from a light blue to a deep blue-green, with some mottling and matrix to several stones visible under magnification. The diamonds are near-colorless and decorative in quality. French export marks and an indistinct workshop mark on clasp. Gross weight approximately 30.6 dwts.
