Of geometric design, the rock crystal crescent and terminal set with three natural pearls measuring approximately 14.8 by 13.4 mm, 9.2 by 8.7 mm and 9.1 by 8.0 mm, accented throughout with numerous old mine, old European and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 4.25 carats, signed VCA, numbered 45071.4, circa 1925. With signed pouch.

Condition

In good condition. The rock crystal is slightly scratched due to wear, although this is not apparent when worn. The diamonds are approximately G-J color, VS-SI clarity, with the large old mine-cut diamond approximately J-K color; some of the diamonds bearing minor chips due to age. The natural pearls are silvery white, the two smaller pearls with strong rose overtones, there is some wrinkling to the skins to the reverse and some minute cracking towards the drilled ends. The larger natural pearl exhibits moderate rose and green overtones and heavy wrinkling to the skin. Some denting and scratching to the reverse of the mounting and some evidence of solder to the pinstem. Copy of original invoice and appraisal from VCA available upon request.
