The first brooch of foliate design, mounted in 18 karat gold, signed M. Buccellati, Italy; the second brooch of wreath design set with 12 cultured pearls measuring approximately 5.6 to 5.4 mm, mounted in 18 karat gold; the third brooch of circular design set in 14 karat gold; the fourth brooch of foliate design featuring a glass leaf framed within textured 14 karat gold branches set with 20 round diamonds weighing approximately .80 carat; the fifth brooch designed as 14 karat gold pine cones; the sixth brooch designed with 14 karat two-color gold ribbon scrolls; the seventh white gold brooch featuring a hardstone leaf decorated with a pearl-formed ladybug, set with round diamonds.
Condition
In good condition unless otherwise stated. The gold brooches exhibiting some scratches due to wear. The cultured pearls are silvery white with fair luster, moderate rose and green overtones and some minor cracking to the skins. The diamonds in the "leaf" brooches are near colorless and decorative in quality. The hardstone leaf tests as nephrite, there is noticeable glue residue where the hardstone meets the white gold mounting. The pearl in the "ladybug" brooch is not tested.
