Gold, Platinum and Gem-Set Brooch

Designed as a geisha playing a shamisen decorated with small diamonds, emeralds, rubies and sapphires, gross weight approximately 8 dwts.

In fair condition. The gold exhibiting a patina and some scratching due to age. The diamonds are near-colorless and decorative in quality. The emeralds are medium light green, the sapphires are medium violetish blue and the rubies are medium slightly purplish red. The colored stones are moderately to heavily included and some of the emeralds bear chips. The stones are so small that the chips are not evident when the brooch is worn.
