The first brooch designed as two fish within sculpted surrounds set with numerous round diamonds of yellow hue weighing approximately 2.55 carats, accented by numerous round near colorless diamonds weighing approximately 3.50 carats, decorated with round emeralds; the second brooch designed as an openwork fish centered by an oval-shaped citrine weighing approximately 17.00 carats, framed by nine marquise-shaped tourmalines and a round ruby eye; total gross weight approximately 35 dwts.
Condition
In good condition. CITRINE BROOCH: The citrine is a medium deep yellowish orange and eye-clean. The tourmalines are dark very slightly yellowish green and range from eye-clean to lightly included. The ruby is medium slightly purplish red and moderately included. DOUBLE FISH BROOCH: The emeralds, diamonds and yellow diamonds surrounding the fish are suspended from the gold branches and have nice movement when the brooch is worn. The emeralds are a vibrant medium green and moderately included. The near colorless diamonds are approximately F-G color, VS clarity. The yellow diamonds are a vibrant medium yellow, VVS-VS clarity.
