Designed as a textured gold dragon, set with round, tapered baguette and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.35 carats, the torso accented by ten cabochon emeralds and the eye and tongue enhanced with five round rubies, gross weight approximately 26 dwts.
Condition
In good condition and bearing a nice heft. The reverse of the body with some spots of tarnish, this is not evident when the brooch is worn. The emerald cabochons are medium deep green and range from moderately to heavily included, most with surface reaching inclusions. The rubies are medium slightly purplish red and moderately included. The ruby eye has a chip to one of the facets. Set with 72 round, 1 single-cut and 1 tapered baguette diamond; the diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity.
