The pendant-brooch centered by a fancy-shaped amethyst accented by 12 round diamonds weighing approximately 1.50 carats, within hammered gold surrounds and suspended from a textured gold openwork chain, gross weight approximately 231 dwts, length 16¾ inches, both pieces signed Webb; pendant detachable.

Condition

In good condition with evidence of minor discoloration to the gold mainly on the reverse. The fancy-shaped amethyst is a medium-deep purple and eye-clean with evidence of color zoning around the corners, not evident when worn. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, predominantly VS clarity with a few SI examples. Signed on the mounting of the amethyst and on the reverse of the gold openwork chain. Both the pendant-brooch and necklace individually bear a nice weight. Necklace weighs approximately 179 dwts, pendant-brooch weighs approximately 52 dwts. Necklace fitted with safety closure. Accompanied by an unassociated fitted box.
