Centered by a square emerald-cut sapphire weighing 19.79 carats, flanked by two tapered baguette diamonds weighing 1.05 carats, size 8¾, numbered 32651, 1944.

In good condition. The square emerald-cut sapphire is medium-deep violetish blue, a bit more lively than appears in the printed catalogue, lightly included with only a few surface reaching inclusions visible under magnification. The two tapered baguette diamonds are approximately H-J color, VS-SI clarity. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 52153 stating that the sapphire is of Sri Lankan origin, with no indications of heating.
