The gold case clad in green leather, gross weight approximately 96 dwts, signed Tiffany Schlumberger, Made in France; together with a tri-color gold vanity case of basketweave design, the interior fitted with three variously-sized compartments and a lipstick holder, the sides applied with black enamel, gross weight approximately 114 dwts, with maker's marks.
Condition
Both pieces in good condition. LEATHER CASE: Leather is intact. Signed on top of inner frame, interior contains a mirror. Box measuring 3 7/8 by 3 1/4 by 3/4 inches. VANITY CASE: Minor surface scratching to the gold due to use. Case bears a nice heft. The black enamel is mainly intact with one significant dent located in one of the corners. Box stamped with maker's mark "MF" and stamped "Patent 1662028." Two interior compartments are monogrammed "BAH" and "BCH." Box measuring 3 1/4 by 2 1/4 by 5/8 inches.
