Pair of 18 Karat Rose Gold, Sapphire and Diamond Earrings, Michele della Valle, with an 18 Karat White Gold, Sapphire and Diamond Ring

The earrings set with two rose-cut sapphire discs measuring approximately 32.0 by 24.8 by 3.6 mm, suspended by two rose-cut yellow sapphire discs measuring approximately 23.7 by 19.9 by 5.0 mm, set throughout with round diamonds weighing approximately 1.20 carats, signed MdV; together with a ring centered by a cabochon sapphire measuring approximately 15.7 by 10.5 by 8.7 mm, framed by pear-shaped  sapphires and round yellow sapphires, bordered by round diamonds weighing approximately .40 carat, size 6½.

Both pieces in good condition with some gentle surface wear to the mounting. EARRINGS: The two rose-cut blue sapphire discs exhibit a mixture of grayish blue and white and are well matched for color; heavily included and opaque. The two rose-cut yellow sapphire discs are a medium-deep brownish yellow, heavily included with few examples of surface reaching inclusions. The numerous diamonds surrounding the stones are decorative in quality. RING: The cabochon sapphire is a very light violetish blue, heavily included with examples of cavities due to surface reaching inclusions. The pear-shaped blue sapphires framing the center sapphire are a medium light slightly violetish blue, lightly to moderately included. The round yellow sapphires are bright, medium light slightly orangy yellow, lightly included with minor evidence of inclusions. The diamonds are near colorless and decorative in quality.
