The pair of heart-shaped brooches, one set with numerous ruby beads measuring approximately 5.8 to 3.6 mm, the second set with numerous emerald beads measuring approximately 6.4 to 3.5 mm.
Condition
Both pieces in good condition. The ruby brooch has a gross weight of approximately 33 dwts. The rubies are a deep purple-red and are predominantly opaque, many inclusions reach the surface. The emerald brooch has a gross weight of approximately 27 dwts. The emeralds are a medium green color and are moderately to heavily included, some of those inclusions reaching the surface and some light chipping.
