The eight-strand necklace composed of round chalcedony beads measuring approximately 7.3 mm, the clasp set with a cabochon chalcedony measuring approximately 36.6 by 36.6 by 12.6 mm, accented by round diamonds weighing approximately 1.20 carats, length 19 inches, signed A. Clunn; the earrings centered by two chalcedony cabochons measuring approximately 23.7 by 19.5 by 13.1 mm and 23.6 by 19.4 by 13.2 mm, within a polished gold frame decorated with round diamonds weighing approximately 1.80 carats, signed A. Clunn.
Condition
In good condition. The chalcedony beads are a light violetish blue, lightly to moderately included, semi-transparent to semi-translucent. The cabochon chalcedony in the necklace is a medium blue-violet, heavily included and semi-translucent. The chalcedonies in the necklace are a slightly lighter hue than appears in the printed catalogueThe cabochon chalcedonies in the earrings are a lighter bluish violet, heavily included and semi-opaque. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, VS-SI clarity. Earrings fitted with pendant hooks that have been soldered to the back of the earring.
