18 Karat Two-Color Gold, Silver, Diamond, Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald Brooch, Buccellati

Designed as a floral spray, one flowerhead centered by an old mine-cut diamond weighing approximately 1.45 carats, the other flowerheads centered by one round sapphire and one round ruby, the petals highlighted with 48 cabochon emeralds, signed Buccellati, with maker's marks.

In good condition, with light surface wear and typical tarnishing to the silver. Discoloration to the reverse of the gold petals; not visible when worn. The transparent to semi-transparent emeralds are a light blue-green, moderately to heavily included witih some surface reaching inclusions and cavities. The ruby is a medium-deep very slightly purplish red, moderately included. The sapphire is a medium slightly violetish blue, lightly to moderately included. The diamond is approximately O-P color, SI clarity. Stamped gb for Gianmaria Buccellati.
