Suspending two pear-shaped emeralds carved with foliate motifs, suspended by two pear-shaped cabochon emeralds and completed by florets set with eight emeralds carved with foliate motifs, the emeralds weighing a total of approximately 55.70 carats, set throughout with numerous diamonds of near colorless and brownish hues weighing approximately 3.70 carats, signed Djaya, numbered 01012.
Condition
In good condition. The pear-shaped emeralds are a medium slightly bluish green, semi-transparent to translucent, with evidence of surface reaching inclusions and cavities. The floral motif emeralds alternate between a medium-deep slightly bluish green to a light bluish green, semi-transparent to translucent, moderately included. The largest round diamonds are approximately light brown color, VS-SI clarity, while the smaller round diamonds are a more intense orangy brown, VS-SI clarity. The smallest diamonds are near colorless and decorative in quality. With workshop mark and French assay marks. Please note that the diamonds have not been tested for natural origin of color.
