Of floral design, centered by a cabochon sapphire framed by round diamonds, accented by oval-shaped sapphires and completed by a fringe of round diamonds weighing a total of approximately 2.50 carats, size 7ΒΌ, signed Van Cleef Arpels, Paris, numbered 15031, 1975 and 56, with French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

In good condition. The cabochon sapphire is a deep, slightly violetish blue, moderately to heavily included, translucent to semi-translucent. The 16 oval sapphires are a medium deep, slightly violetish blue, lightly to moderately included with some examples showing abrading to the facet junctions, visible under magnification. The 34 round diamonds are approximately G-I color, VVS-VS clarity. Diamond fringe is articulated and moves freely when worn.
