The curb-link chain spaced by six oval-shaped plaques, three set with mother-of-pearl and three set with hematite, gross weight approximately 139 dwts, length 35½ inches, signed Bulgari Italy, with maker's marks.
Condition
In good condition overall, with very light surface wear. The mother-of-pearl exhibits a nice play of color, with distinct rose and green overtones. The dark silvery gray hematite plaques present the natural conchodial banding inherent to the material. Minor surface cracking to a few of the panels, but it is not evident when worn. Also with workshop mark and Italian registry and assay marks. Bears a nice heft.
