Condition
Both stenciled "6908' on underside, one with paper label inscribed "5508" on underside. Both with age and construction cracks, abrasions and dents. Armrests with wide cracks at joint to back rest; possibly old restored breakes. One armrest with small loss to wood in this area. Scattered cracks, chips and small losses to gesso. Regilt, gilding with losses, arbrasions and rubbing. One chair with finials replaced. Legs blocked. Scattered old worm damage. Well carved.
