Woven upside down.
Pile generally good, closely sheared 1/10" overall, with scattered minor areas with foldwear low to knotheads and some oxidized taupes, also low to knotheads.
A 1x1" reweave in field, and another 1.5x.5" reweave, upper end guardborder. .5x.5" reweave also in upper end guardborder. Original two cord selvages intact.
Partial lower end guard border rewoven, extremely well executed and barely detectable.
Both ends with later fringes.
Upper end with cloth tape in hanging loops sewn to reverse.
Extremely supple handle, good overall condition.
