Condition

Large age crack across length of top; scratches, wear and small chips to paint and lacquer with most chips at edges. Some lifting and flaking to lacquer around a later velvet surface; painted decoration on sides is in good condition with a few areas of warping and flaking; lacquer with active flaking on legs and base with large losses to column shafts and feet; gate legs are in good working condition and are sturdy.
