the pair of hinged rectangular stands centered by lattice panels and opening on a swiveling support, flanked by a pair of hinged brass candle arms and raised on a reeded standard on downswept legs ending in brass-capped casters; mounted with a brass plaque engraved ERARD'S / LONDON, the swiveling support stamped with a crown beneath an eight-pointed star.
