Eighteenth-century versions of this model, executed by Boulle with six and eight branches, are in the Victoria and Albert Museum and the J. Paul Getty Museum. Nineteenth-century versions were executed for Wilhelm III of Germany for the royal palaces in Berlin and Potsdam.
