Description

  • Mahogany
with horseshoe shaped top rails, on scrolled supports, with close nailed button suede upholstery on turned and reeded tapering legs, with brass caps and castors, each stamped 'Gillows 11064' and 'Gillows 10084'

Mallett Antiques, London,  8th January 2003, (£46,000).

Condition

Overall in a good ready to use condition. The seats now sprung and re-upholstered, the brass caps and castors possibly later replaced. The front right leg to one now pegged. Each stamped 'Gillows 11064' and 'Gillows 10084' respectively. Old marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
