Condition
Crease towards bottom right corner. Some small losses along left edge, repaired with bits of paper on the verso.

Catalogue Note
Ralph Holland was inclined to think this was by a Genoese artist, but it seems more Roman and is perhaps a design for a sculpture. The many pointed stars can be found attached to various families' coats of arms, such as the Aldobrandini and the Montalto.
