Condition
A goat-herder with his flock
This work has been well preserved. The medium has remained strong and easily readable. There is some very minor surface dirt to the sheet but this can only be seen on very close inspection. The work has been laid down onto its original mount, which is attached to a back-board at several points verso.
Study of the Death of Meleager
This drawing is in good condition. Under a raking light it is possible to see some very minor scuffsmark to the sheet, however these can only be seen on very close inspection. The work has not been laid down and it is attached to a back-board at several points verso.
Composition of Classical Figures
This drawing has also been well preserved. There is a skilfully repaired tear, measuring 9 mm, located towards the lower left hand corner of the sheet. The work has not been laid down, but it is attached to a back-board at its extreme edges verso. It appears as though the sheet may have been laid down in the past.
