Provenance

With Louis Meier, London, from whom purchased, circa 1955

Condition

Window mounted. Some staining around the outer edges of the sheet, most evident at the left margin. There is a purplish wash on the recto that appears to have been added later. The sheet has a number of creases - this perhaps due to where the sheet may have been previouslty laid down. Otherwise chalk relatively strong on recto and verso.
