Description
- A collection of eleven empty bindings, comprising:
- paper
Six empty folio volumes (dimensions between 590 x 440mm. and 750 x 560mm.), similar to lot 14, blank leaves, some with former contents (prints?) removed, others never used, nineteenth-century morocco gilt in various colours with royal arms on covers, titled on spines “Suyderhoef”, “French School”, etc., g.e., some rubbing; and 5 others, including an empty box in the form of a book, folio (680 x 500mm.), nineteenth-century red morocco gilt, titled on spine and upper cover “Photographs”, somewhat rubbed and marked, new interior, and a folio nineteenth-century red morocco gilt album containing a few prints and watercolours (540 x 420mm.), and a 4to nineteenth-century blindstamped burgundy morocco album with clasp and lock (365 x 275mm.)
