Condition

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the largest butterfly brooch is set with coloured sapphires of intense blue, medium to intense purple, light brown, and orangy brown colour, some with feather and dark inclusions visible under 10x loupe but not noticeable to naked eye. The diamonds are probably G-H colour, SI clarity, stamped CTF for Chow Tai Fook. The second butterfly brooch is set with medium green sapphires (two green sapphires deficient), some with feather and typical inclusions, the diamonds are about G-H colours, VS clarity, tested to be set in 16-17 karat gold. The pair of butterfly brooches of antique design, set with diamonds of G-H colours, I clarity, stamped for 18 karat blackened gold. Condition: Tarnishing to the gold of the green sapphire butterfly brooch. The other butterfly brooches in very good condition.
