Comprising: a ring set to the centre with a polished jadeite within a circular-cut and baguette diamond border, ring size K1/2; and a necklace designed as a graduated row of jadeite beads to a foliate plaque clasp set with a polished jadeite, length approximately 850mm.
Condition
Ring: Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no. 08735, stating that the jadeite in the ring showed no evidence of treatment.
Jadeite translucent, medium green, typical inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnification, measuring approximately 19.0 x 14.4 x 6.9 mm, some abrasions to surface. Total diamond weight approximately 0.20 - 0.50 carats, stones bright and lively.
Necklace: Verbal test by The Gem and Pearl Laboratory on a sample of the necklace showing a mixture of untreated jadeite and acid-bleached/polymer-impregnated jadeite in necklace of 117 beads.
Stamped with 14K for 14 carat gold. Jadeite semi-translucent to opaque, whitish to green colour, beads measuring approximately from 4.5 to 9.0 mm. Clasp secure with safety chain. Some abrasions to metal consistent with wear and age. In good condition.
