Ruby and diamond bracelet, 1920s

Designed as a series of cross-shaped links set with circular-cut diamonds, alternating with oval rubies in collet settings, length approximately 165mm.

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no. 08931, stating that samples of the rubies were found to show no evidence of heat treatment, origin opinion Burma and that one ruby (second from the tongue end) was synthetic. Stamped with maker's marks. Numbered 34643. Ruby with characteristic inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnification, some chips and nicks to some stones. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.00 - 1.50 carats, stones bright and lively. Well articulated. Clasp secure with safety chain. In good condition.
