Set with a polished opal within a frame of brilliant-cut diamonds, hinged pendant bail, brooch fitting to reverse.
Condition
Partially stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Opal measuring approximately 33 x 19mm, stated to weigh 23.88 carats, blue body colour with strong green and blue play-of-colour. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.90 - 3.30 carats, estimated colour I - J, estimated clarity VS on average. Pendant bail hinged. Some abrasions to mount consistent with wear. In very good condition.
