Designed as a fish, set with a blister and abalone pearls, ruby and emerald beads, brilliant-cut and rose diamonds, signed Cartier, Paris and numbered, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
DUE TO THE SETTING IT HAD NOT BEEN POSSIBLE TO UNSET THE PEARLS FOR TESTING WITHOUT DAMAGE.
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Stamped with French assay marks and 750 for 18 carat gold. Signed Cartier, Paris with maker's mark. Indistinctly numbered 020215. Blister pearl and abalone pearls with grey/green body colour and strong rose overtone, peeling to nacre on side of large blister pearl. Emerald and rubies with typical inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnification. Diamonds estimated colour J-L, estimated clarity Si, a few stones i/included. Clasp fitting secure. Slight abrasions and tarnish to mount consistent with wear. In good condition.
