The earrings set with pear-shaped and circular-cut rubies within frames of brilliant-cut diamonds, post and hinged back fittings; the ring set with an oval ruby within a frame of brilliant-cut diamonds, the shoulders similarly set, size K, signed S. Rudle.

Earrings: rubies well matched in colour, with good transparency, with typical crystal inclusions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 4.50 carats, estimated colour H-J, estimated VS-Si clarity. Hinge back fittings secure. In good condition. Ring: signed S. Rudle. Ruby measuring approximately 9.4 x 8.4 x 4.7mm, calculated to weigh approximately 2.60 carats, as gauged and graded in the mounting; ruby well saturated, with some abrasion to facet edges. Diamonds estimated to weigh less than 1.00 carat, bright and lively. Signs of wear to mounting consistent with use. In good condition.
