Condition

Overall good condition; the marble top with restorations and repaired breaks not visible to the surface, and with very minor nicks to edges; the brass mounts with minor pitting and wear consistent with age; the plinth with large veneer loss to central left corner approximately 3 by 1 1/2 in., and with loss to veneer of central right corner approximately 3 by 1 in.; small losses to veneers above the protruding blocks to plinth
