Condition

Overall good restored condition; now with a glossy surface overall; the solid mahogany top veneered with rosewood and with minor warpage; the underside with a butterfly patch to one corner over lines of construction; the top now with later screws and metal brackets which allow it to float and expand and contract; please note the top is original to the base as the screwholes to the aprons correspond to the underside of the top; please also note these brackets are held in place to the frame which has been cut into with grooves; the top with minor losses to veneers of crossbanded edge and with some minor patches; one long side with loss to the bead and reel moulded eadge eighteen inches in length; each rosette to the trestle with a loss; feet with some wear; one scroll with a large old chip; table is sturdy.
