Condition
PIle ranges from 1/4" to low to knotheads in lower end border.
Same area with an approx. 3" slit, with some losses to pile.
A few smaller slits nearby.
Some further small slits at upper end where foundation is slightly dry.
Upper end border with some scattered repiling.
Flatwoven ends folded under and sewn.
Selvages intact, sides with burlap bands sewn on reverse.
Further burlap bands sewn on reverse across central axis.
Flexible handle, lustrous wool, scattered spot stains.
